My dear friends - Elder & Sister Curtis - are leaving Nauvoo this week to go home for 6 months and then will come back to finish their mission. I am sad to see them go, but look forward to their return!

A unique feature of this mission for the young sister missionaries is that they are here in Nauvoo for 6 of their 18 months, then they go outbound somewhere else in the United States for 6 months and then come back here for the last 6 months of their mission. Sister Russell and Sister Etherington are leaving this week! The rest of the young sister missionaries will find out this week where their outbound assignments will be - it is actually just like receiving their original call in the mail all over again! They are anxious and nervous at the same time!

All of us Senior Missionaries get very close to these young sisters! They are like granddaughters to us! We hate to see them go.....but look forward to their return in the spring!
