With General Conference coming up next weekend, I decided to take pictures today of sites where general church conferences were held here in Nauvoo in the 1840s. Whether in a Grove of trees, a Tabernacle or in a Conference Center, hearing the word of the Lord from a Prophet of God is a rich blessing in our lives. I would have loved to be here when the Prophet Joseph Smith addressed the early saints.
