As part of our Public Affairs assignment, last Thursday, Oct 23rd, Sister Thomas and I hosted a VIP tour of members of the Quincy Hotel Operators Association here in Nauvoo. After going to lunch and a short introduction to some of the downtown Nauvoo area, we headed to the sites in Old Historic Nauvoo. We first toured the Family Living Center, then the Blacksmith shop (where they got their mini horseshoe and prairie diamond ring), then on to the Brickyard (where they got their Nauvoo brick), and finished up with a wagon ride tour of all the Historic sites. Sister Thomas was the wagon narrator! A great time was had by all and it was a beautiful day!
